Hailee is an accomplished American singer and actress. She has performed many notable performances in her career. She first became famous for her portrayal of Mattie Ross in the movie "True Grit,". When she made her debut in 1993, she was thirteen. The confident and strong performance has earned her several critical awards and many people have already seen the star she was about to be. Numerous awards have been presented to her due to her musical abilities and versatility. This includes the Billboard Music Award (for best song) and a Peabody Award (for best actor) and three Critics Choice Awards'. The awards she has received include an Golden Globe Award and a British Academy Film Award. She was also nominated for three Critics' Choice Movie Awards and an Academy Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and a British Academy Film Award. The performance she made in the Western film True Grit' earned her nominations for the BAFTA Award', Academy Award' and Screen Actors Guild Award. The roles she played in "3 Days to Kill, "Ender's game," "Begin Again, and 'Romeo and Juliet and 'Ender's game' brought her fame.
